The aftershot of my Draw This Again Meme. Hey, I said I'd upload it after doing some editing. The colors here should be closer to natural image now. The image is slightly subdued so it's less crisp, I was trying to aim for a more soft look.

If you're wondering what's up with the stars: I tried to go for drawing stars in the same manner as they did back in ancient Egypt. I'm not sure if I entirely like it, it doesn't really give that cosmic-ish look I was going for. Perhaps the speculation that the way ancient Egyptian designed stars after starfish might have to do something with my dismay. :P

How cute! I like the dimension to their figures.

You certainly have improved a lot. It shows it well with better shading and positions.

Atem doesn't look like he is looking at Mana as much as passed her at some unseen place. Also his right hand looks weird. It might me that you needed to draw a little more of the back of the hand and maybe a second knucle. (Says this while examing the grip with her own hands as models.) I'm no expert so I might be wrong with my suggestion.

I do agree that Atem doesn't seem like he's staring at Mana. That part was kind of tricky, I wasn't quite sure how to tackle it without making it look like I broke his neck. Hindsight tells me that I probably should have gone with a less frontal view for him.

As for the hand, it is weird, but the goal was kind of trying to show him gripping something, which would mean that I should focus more on trying to show the inside of the hand (admittedly, it's something I don't draw often).

They have such wonderful poses! For such an unusual view you've certainly done a good job on their anatomy. Might I suggest working a bit more on their facial expressions? If you were lacking at all, that is the only area I see. :tighthug:

Thanks for the helpful feedback! Yes, facial expressions is something I struggle with a bit, it certainly does look kind of slightly platonic. I'll probably be practicing more of that in the future. :)
